Tag Rugby!
Published 21/11/23Our Year 6 children enjoyed their Tag Rugby competition at Soar Valley College last week!
The children worked really hard as a team and they were both ambitious and resilient which are our school character traits! Well done everyone!

Published 21/11/23Our School council representatives joined Bonsai Class the other day for a reading session. The children selected a selection of books and read to each other. Everyone had a great time!

Forest school fires!
Published 14/11/23The Year 1 and Year 3 children had a great time in their last forest school session. They had lots of fun toasting marshmallows!
They learnt about the importance of fire safety and they also learnt the 'respect position'. Well done everyone!

Rainbows!
Published 14/11/23In Rainbows the children have been working together to construct jigsaw puzzles. They had to use language such as corners, edges and matching pieces. They were jubilant when they completed them as you can see!

Buddhist Monk Visit
Published 07/11/23Year 4 had a special visitor last week! We welcomed a Buddhist Monk into school who spoke to us about their life and answered lots of our questions.
We thoroughly enjoyed learning about his life and took part in some guided meditation too!

Year 1 Trip to Newarke Houses Museum
Published 24/10/23Our Year 1 children have enjoyed their trip to the Newarke Houses Museum this morning. The children learnt about how toys have changed through time and they were able to sort the toys into the different materials that they are made from. Well done Year 1!
