Our Year 3 children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to Cresswell Crags earlier this week. The children enjoyed carrying out a range of activities as well as wearing their helmets in the caves. Well done Year 3!

Published 02/04/25Our Year 2 children have been busy in the allotment this week. The children have been learning about plant survival and as part of their Science learning they have been investigating the question 'Do bigger seeds germinate faster than smaller seeds?' The children worked with their talk partner to plant their seeds. Each pair had a different sized seed. Well done Year 2!

For one of the activities about Plants, the children had to create their own natural art using a range of natural materials that they could find in the woodland area. The children really enjoyed this activity. Well done everyone!

The children have been learning about plants in their Science lessons and they were excited to expand their knowledge. They were able to sketch cacti in the desert house and plant their own cress in the classroom. Everyone had a wonderful day!
