Number bonds!
Our Year 1 children have been consolidating their knowledge on their number bonds to 10. The children had to work together as a team to find the numbers that make a pair and total 10. Well done Year 1!

Mrs Sheerin and the Year 5 children have been busy in our new school allotment today! The children have been prepping the boxes and planting a variety of plants and flowers. Well done Year 5!
Our Year 2 children have enjoyed their first day back by learning about Islam as part of their R.E. day. Mr Fojdar spoke to the children about fasting, prayer mats and mosques. The children enjoyed designing their own prayer mats and they carefully sketched a mosque.
Over the Easter holidays our Year 1 children have created their own representations of a variety of habitats. Can you spot which habitats the children have created?

Last week our Year 2 children enjoyed their school trip to Skegness beach as part of their Geography learning on the Coastline. The day was very hot and sunny and the children were able to play seaside games with their friends. The children also tried fish and chips and enjoyed an ice-cream in the afternoon!
In the Summer term we will be holding 5 free 'Getting Ready for School' sessions. These sessions are free to all and will help you prepare for your child starting school.

Our Year 3 and 4 girls enjoyed their trip to 'Goals Leicester' last week. The children enjoyed practising their new football skills in the sunshine. The girl's confidence grew as they took part in a variety of football games and activities with children from other schools.

Our Year 5 children have been building their own big hotels as part of their Science unit ‘Sow, grow and farm.’ The bug hotels will be placed into the new school allotment once it is ready!

Our Year 5 children have been taking part in their 'Bikeability' sessions this week The children have been learning how to ride safely on their bikes. The children have practised on the school playground and on the roads close to our school. Well done Year 5!
