Our Key Stage One children enjoyed Multi Sports Club on Tuesday! The children were concentrating on using focus and control to roll the ball to knock the pins down. The children also enjoyed using the body boards to move around the space and knock the pins down!
Mrs Watts spoke to the children about Black History Month during assembly. The children were able to discuss their thoughts on Black History. Mrs Watts set a challenge for us to complete throughout the month in order to learn more! The challenges can be found below!
Our Year 1’s have been working on their artistic talents this week by creating artwork relating to Autumn! The children have created their own scarecrows and used leaves to create their own leaf art!

Last week the whole school enjoyed an assembly which was led by Lucy from Severn Trent Water.
Lucy spoke to the children about the water cycle and how we can be more efficient with our use of water in a variety of ways. Thank you!
Our Nursery children have been celebrating the festival of Navratri by learning a Garba dance. The children enjoyed clapping and dancing as well as learning about the festival of Navratri. Well done Oak Class!
Some of our Year 5 and Year 6 children have recently competed in a Tag Rugby tournament at
@soarvalley16 The children came third in the competition and had a fantastic day! Well done everyone!
Mrs Sheerin has kindly made a water wall for the Nursery children using a range of recycled materials. The children had lots of fun watching the water fall down the pipes. Thank you Mrs Sheerin!
The children in Bonsai class have been learning about Queen Elizabeth II's life and remembering her over the last two weeks. The children created Queen Elizabeth pictures in their Forest School session and talked about feelings.
Our Year 3 children enjoyed finding out about the Stone Age period of History in their session with CLS last week. The children created their own cave drawings and learnt about what people might wear during that time. Well done Year 3!
Redwood taught Key Stage Two about Sustainability in their class assembly. The children spoke about what sustainability means and how we could be more sustainable in our everyday lives! Great work Redwood class!
Our Nursery children have been settling in well during their Stay and Play sessions! The children have been enjoying the role-play area and have been developing their communication skills by pretending to be a range of people. Well done Oak class!
