Our Year 1 children have been busy creating pictograms in their Computing lessons. The children were able to collect the data as a class and create a tally chart before using the iPads to make their own pictograms. Well done Year 1!

Our Year 2 children have been busy learning how to cook a simple meal in their Design and Technology lessons. The children were able to make stuffed peppers with rice, new potatoes and a side salad. The children really enjoyed learning how to use the kitchen tools safely. Well done Year 2!
Our Year 2 children have been busy learning about the features of a non-chronological report. The children have been learning about writing a short summary as their introduction, what bullet points are used for and writing captions to go with some photographs. Next week the children will be writing their own non-chronological reports based on plastic pollution. Well done Year 2!
Our Nursery children thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Nursery Rhyme Week last week. They explored a range of different activities within the provision and learnt a range of nursery rhymes including: 'London Bridge is falling down,' 'Humpty Dumpty,' and 'Incy Wincy Spider.'
Our Year 1 children have been busy programming the beebots in their Computing lessons. The children learnt the word 'algorithm' and what that means. They understood that instructions have to be given in the correct order for the algorithm to work.
Our Year 5 children had a fantastic time at the National Space Centre last week. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the moon, space and the planets. The children were also incredibly well-behaved. Well done Year 5!
Here are our new Digital Leaders for 2025. The children have been busy reminding the children of our Online Safety rules. They have also explained to the children the new system that we use to ensure that each Chromebook is in the correct trolley.
Our Year 1 children have been busy learning about Elmer and talking about what makes us special and different from each other. The children made their own patchwork elephants using a range of materials and wrote about some of the things that make them special. Well done Year 1!
Our Year 2 children have been busy learning about the story 'The Missing Piece' by Jordan Stephens. The children really enjoyed thinking about what made them happy and they enjoyed creating the collage characters and jigsaw pieces as part of a team. Well done Year 2!
Our Reception children have been working extremely hard in their first two weeks of school. The children used a range of materials and collage techniques to create representations of themselves. I am sure you will agree that they look fantastic! Well done Reception!

KS2 Sports Day took place earlier this week. The children relaly enjoyed taking part in a range of activities and races including the distance and sprint races. Well done to the Blue Team who won the day overall!
